As per Vizag TV reports, once victims installed these fraudulent apps, the apps gained full access to their mobile phones — photos, contacts, and personal data were secretly stolen.
Later, scammers morphed the victims' photos and sent them to friends and family members listed in the contacts, blackmailing the victims to pay fake loan amounts.
